VESSELPLASTY™ IN TURKEY

A-SPINE HOLDING (ASH) announced the successful launch of its new product to treat VCF (Vertebral Compression Fracture) in Turkey in the two symposia held on June 11 and 13 in Istanbul and Ankara respectively.

VESSELPLASTY™, designed by Jerry Lin, the Chairman of A-SPINE HOLDING, is a minimally invasive surgical intervention targeting at the aging population suffering from osteoporosis and the subsequent fracture of the vertebra of spine. By providing its proprietary innovation in controlling the volume of void and the leakage of filler material, ASH has developed the VESSELPLASTY™ that provides a safer and more convenient means for spine surgeons to treat VCF that affects millions of patients worldwide.

In the two symposia organized by Prof. Dr. Azmi HAMZAOGLU(Florence Nightingale Hospital, Istanbul) and Prof. Dr. Mehmet ALTINMAKAS(Chief of Orthopaedic & Traumatology Dept., TSK Rehabilitation Center, Ankara), Dr. Bambang Darwono reported his clinical results of a comprehensive series of cases using VESSELPLASTY in comparison with current treatment. He concluded that

“ VESSELPLASTY advances Kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty by controlling volume of the void and the leakage of bone filler material.”

Two live surgeries were performed in the venue hospitals by local surgeons with the surgical demonstration by Dr. Bambang Darwono. The two patients with T7 and L2 fractures of the spine respectively, were treated by VESSELPLASTY™ for restoring vertebral height, correcting kyphotic angulation, and release of pain, and were discharged from the hospitals by walking out of the doors of hospitals the next morning. No neurological deficit was observed with the VESSELPLASTY™ procedures. Neurological deficit is the most significant sign of VCF complications following traditional vertebroplasty or Kyphoplasty treatment due to leakage of injected filler material to the surrounding nerve system.

PASSMISS 2006

The 6th PASSMISS (Pacific and Asia Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery) will be held from August 17 through 19, at Hotel Howard Beach Resort, Dr. Bambang Darwono will speak on the topic of “A New and Safe Osteoplasty Concept to treat VCF ( Vertebral Compression Fractures ). ” on August 18,2006. Relevant vessel-X products will also be discussed during the conference.

NASS 2006

The 21th annual meeting of NASS (North American Spine Society) will be held from September 26th through September 30th, 2006 at Washington State Convention &Trade Center Seattle, WA.  Relevant vessel products will be displayed in a booth # 1630 by A-Spine Holding (ASH)

Euro Spine 2006

The Euro Spine 2006 will be held from October 25 through 28, 2006 at ICEC (Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center), A-Spine Holding Group Corp (ASH). will be attend and relevant Vessel-X product will be display in the conference room

Meeting & Courses Event of Year 2007

13th Operative Spine Course of Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association 
-- Coimbatore, India – 08-11 March,2007
       

The 13th APOA Operative Spine Course was held in Coimbatore, India from March 8-11, 2007.  The meeting has accommodated nearly 300 participants from 13 countries and 28 facultie all over the world.  Dr. Bambang Darwono was invited as guest speaker and his topic “Surgical technique of vertebroplasty and Vesselplasty” received enormous feedbacks from all participants.  A live demo surgery of Vesselplasty was also held during the congress on the 11 March.. 

18th POA Mid-Year Convention

The 18th POA (Philippine Orthopaedic Association) is the national organization of orthopaedic surgeons in the Philippine and will be held from April 23-26,2007
at Fort Ilocandia Resort and Convention Center in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.  A-Spine Holding Group Corp (ASH) will be attending and relevant Vessel-X product will be held a demonstration during the exhibition.  Dr. Bambang’s lecture will be held on April 26th,2007 before product demonstration.

SAS7 Berlin Global Symposium on Motion Preservation Technology
7th ANNUAL MEETING

The SAS (Spine Arthroplasty Society) 7th Annual meeting will be held from 1st -4th May, 2007 at MARITIM Hotel Berlin. The program promises to offer the most distinguished roster of diverse and dynamic topics and presenters on motion preservation technology, including cervical and lumbar disc replacement, discal repair, posterior motion preservation and innovative technologies. A-Spine Holding Group Corp (ASH) Chairman Mr. Jerry Lin and advisory board Dr. Bambang Darwono and Marketing/Product manager Mr. Meison S.C.Chi will be attend meeting and held a simple product demonstration period the conference.

37th MOA (Malaysian Orthopaedic Association) Annual General Meeting IMLAS 2007 14th International Musculoskeletal Laser Society Congress
The 37th MOA combine with 14th IMLAS meeting will be held from 17th~20th May, 2007 at AWANA PORTO MALAI Langkawi, Malaysia. 15th APOA          
The 15th Triennial Congress of Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association will be held at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center, Seoul; where the 3rd Asia-Europe Meeting was held. A-Spine Holding Group (ASH) will be attend and relevant Vessel-X product will be display and  hold a demonstration in the exhibition; Dr. Bambang will be present 2 years clinical experience treatment for VCFs using with Vesselplasty.
